NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 

            Notice is given that on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 8:30 a.m., or as soon thereafter as may be heard, in the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room, Community Services Building 2^nd Floor, 190 Beech Street, Suite 201, Gate City, Virginia 24251, the Scott County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on the possible adoption of an Ordinance to Amend and Reenact in its Entirety the Scott County Public Procurement Ordinance to reflect the law as it now reads in Title 2.2, Chapter 43 of the Code of Virginia.   A copy of the proposed Ordinance is on file for public inspection at the County Administrator’s Office, Community Services Building, 190 Beech Street, Suite 201, Gate City, VA 24251. 

            This public hearing is being held at a public facility believed to be accessible to persons with disabilities.  Persons needing sign language interpreter services for the deaf must request these services five working days in advance of the scheduled public hearing by calling the County Office at (276)386-6521 or TDD (276)386-9111 which is Scott County’s Central Dispatch.
